Dr Cameron Dodd graduated from Sydney University in 1980 and is the principal dentist of Lilli Pilli Dental Practice. Cameron established Lilli Pilli Dental Practice in 1981 with the view of providing a quality family practice in the area that he lives. He loves dentistry and is constantly striving to educate himself in the many facets of his career.
Cameron has attended countless seminars in both Australia and overseas and was a founding member of the Australasian Association of Orofacial Orthopaedics (AAOO) in the early 1980’s. This Association was founded to prosper an alternative orthodontic treatment to the typical extraction of perfect teeth in young developing children. Cameron is passionate about assisting children grow to their full aesthetic potential by monitoring the development of their teeth, jaws and importantly their airways. This leads to healthy, good looking young adults.
Cosmetic dentistry is a big part of Cameron’s work, having trained with the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Cosmetics. Their philosophy, as is Cameron’s, is not just aesthetics, but healthy joints, relaxed muscles and pain-free patients. Getting the teeth and smile beautiful is of little value if the bite is wrong and the patient suffers from headaches and neck pain. Neuromuscular dentistry is an important aspect of Cameron’s treatment regime.
